Rachel Naomi Tan

My journey with CrossFit started in March 2016 when an ex-colleague signed up the CrossFit Fundamentals with Juria on my behalf when we spoke about it during a work trip to Houston. Since then, I had not looked back.

Prior to joining the team of CrossFit Enduro, I was a cabin crew for 27 years, which I retired in November 2021. Albeit working out frequently at the gyms, I could not see improvement physically and mentally as I had to cope with different time zones and erratic working hours.

CrossFit emphasis of working out constantly with different functional movements and then, use your fitness to enjoy living life strong and pain-free is what attracts me to it. I am able to transfer what and how I train in the gym to my daily life, hence enjoying life holistically.
Joining the team as a trainer gives me the opportunity to serve the CrossFit community and allows me to learn as well as share my knowledge with them.

Apart from CrossFit, I am an avid Ashtanga practitioner and hold a 2nd Dan in Aikido.
